A birthday celebration of life and legacy of the British designer, printmaker, poet, social critic, utopian, activist, and proto-environmentalist, William Morris.

A panel of Bucknell scholars in the arts and humanities will present snaptalks on the themes of:

• Useful work vs. useless toil
• Craft and the dignity of making
• Print, design, and the Kelmscott Press
• Ecology, sustainability, and the common good

In collaboration with Special Collections, the event will highlight Bucknell’s Kelmscott Press holdings, including the famed Kelmscott Chaucer.
