The BHC provides financial support for a faculty member to convene an online, collaborative, multi-day workshop on a particular research area in the period between the end of the academic year and the following June 30th. The virtual format allows individuals to participate from diverse national and international locations. The goal of the Summer Institute is to convene a national/international team of scholars to produce new and collaborative knowledge in an area of interdisciplinary inquiry in the humanities.
